Dear Marcher for Life,

The holiday season is here, a time to celebrate Life, Joy, and Hope. You can continue that celebration into the new year by honoring Life at the 39th annual Washington State March for Life. We march at Noon on Monday, January 23, 2017, at the state capitol in Olympia.

What a year it has been. With the wildness of the political season and the changes happening around the world and in all corners of it, we are thrilled to be a true constant. The March for Life rally belongs to all who attend. It is the largest annual gathering at the state capitol and marks the landmark 1973 Supreme Court decision of Roe vs. Wade that decriminalized abortion. Every elected state official is invited to attend, and we encourage legislators who stand with us for Life to speak to the crowd. Will you, your friends (or busload of friends) be there for the noon hour to hear their hopeful messages for Life?

We will march just days after the inauguration of a new president. People have made it known that they want to feel heard. What better time to make your voice known than as we turn to this new and unwritten chapter. As you know, the fight for a voice for the vulnerable and the unborn is hard but important work. We are a people of hope. We want to bring about a world where all people are seen and heard for their infinite value and endless possibilities.

Let us truly care for each and every life as advocates for the unborn and marginalized, as conversation starters, and people with real solutions.

On January 23, you can be a part of the conversation and plan to make your voice heard with Washingtonians standing for Life. The March is exciting, brief, and inspiring. We encourage you to bring your group AND make a plan to visit your legislators either before or after the March. Like the last few years, volunteers will be available prior to and following the rally to help you find your senators and representatives. If you have never done it before make this the year you speak to your legislators face-to-face. They want and need to know that you are pro-life and that your voice and your vote matter. Legislators have told us time and again how much it means to see your faces. You are an inspiration.

If you can't visit your legislators, be sure to write a letter to your senator and representatives telling them that you Marched for Life, that you vote pro-life, and that we can and should find better solutions than abortion.

Please follow us here on our site and on our Facebook Page for additional updates.

We look forward to seeing you and thousands of our fellow Marchers on January 23!
