Join us January 21!

Greetings from the Washington State March for Life,

Before we get into the full swing of the holidays, along with school activities and family plans, please be sure to add the 2014 March for Life to your calendars! The March for Life will be on at Noon on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.

This is the 36th annual march, marking the decriminalization of abortion in the landmark 1973 Supreme Court decision of Roe vs. Wade. As usual we will gather at the capitol steps in Olympia. Every elected state official is invited to attend, and we welcome legislators who stand with us for Life to speak to the crowd. We hope you will be there to hear their message for you!

We come together to advocate for the most vulnerable in our society. It is with hope that we fight for the rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, for all.

Abortion laws in Washington are absurd and out of touch with the wants of the people of the state. There is no reason we cannot offer equal care to women and children (including the unborn) in our state and nationally. It is time to have an honest conversation about how we can find ways to protect children, support women, and build a society with a true respect for life.

Be a part of the conversation, and plan to make your voice heard with Washingtonians standing for Life in January. We encourage you to bring your group. And make a plan to visit your legislators.

New this year, we will have guides available following the rally to help you find senators and representatives. If you have never done it before make this the year you speak to your legislators face-to-face. They need to know that you are pro-life and that your voice and your vote matters.

Please follow us here and on Facebook (Washington State March for Life) for additional updates.

We look forward to seeing you on January 21!

Yours for Life,

Noreen McEntee, and the Board of the Washington State March for Life
